US Van Rental LLC - Rental Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement Overview

This Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is a legally binding contract between US Van Rental LLC ("Company," "We," "Us") and the renter ("You," "Renter"). By renting a vehicle from us, you agree to abide by all terms and conditions outlined in this document. This Agreement grants you the right to use the vehicle for the agreed rental period but does not confer ownership or any other rights beyond those expressly stated.

2. Vehicle Condition & Responsibilities

The rented vehicle, including all accessories and documents, is provided in good condition. You agree:

To inspect the vehicle before accepting it and report any existing damage.
To return the vehicle in the same condition, except for normal wear and tear.
That any repairs, modifications, or service to the vehicle require our prior approval.
That you are responsible for all damages or losses incurred during the rental period.

3. Permitted & Prohibited Uses

You may NOT operate the vehicle:

If you are under 25 years old (unless expressly approved by us).
Without a valid driver’s license issued in your country of residence.
If you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
To transport illegal substances, weapons, or hazardous materials.
For rideshare, taxi, or delivery services unless authorized.
Off-road, in races, or reckless driving.
To tow or push another vehicle or object.
If the speedometer, odometer, or other components have been tampered with.
Outside the United States or Canada without written permission.
If it would violate traffic laws or rental policies.

Violation of any of the above terms will result in immediate termination of the rental and loss of any insurance coverage.

4. Rental Period & Late Returns

Vehicles must be returned to the agreed location on time.
Late returns may incur additional charges and impact future rentals.
We reserve the right to repossess the vehicle if it is used illegally or abandoned.

5. Insurance & Liability Coverage

Renter’s insurance is primary. You must maintain valid liability, collision, and comprehensive coverage on the vehicle.
If required by law, our coverage will provide only the minimum legal liability protection.
Our insurance does NOT cover unauthorized drivers, reckless use, or violations of this Agreement.
You may decline our Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), but you will be fully responsible for damages.

International Rentals: Additional insurance is required for travel outside the U.S.

6. Renter’s Financial Responsibility

You are responsible for:

Any damage, theft, or loss of the rental vehicle.
Traffic violations, parking tickets, or toll fees incurred during the rental period.
Fuel refills if the vehicle is not returned with the same fuel level.
Any cleaning fees for excessive dirt, smoking, or pet hair.
Key replacement fees if the keys are lost or damaged.

Security Deposit: We may hold a deposit on your credit card, which will be refunded upon returning the vehicle in good condition.

7. Breakdown, Accidents & Emergency Procedures

In case of an accident:

Report it immediately to us and local authorities if required.
Do not accept liability or make statements to third parties.
Obtain a police report and document all damages.

In case of a breakdown:

Contact us for roadside assistance.
Unauthorized repairs will not be reimbursed.

8. Cancellation & Refund Policy

You may cancel your reservation without any charges all the way up to 10 days prior to your scheduled pick up date, however if you cancel your reservation within 10 days to your reservation, there will be 50% of total or the minimum $300, charge as a cancellation fee. For one way rental, long weekend, holidays and Christmas there is minimum $500 cancellation fee. The Failure to notify us of any cancellations either by email or by a simple phone call, or No-show at the pick-up location (up to 2 hrs late), will result into collection of the total rental fee from the responsible party credit card.
We may issue a credit for future rentals instead of a refund.

Refunds are not provided for early returns, unused rental days, or policy violations.

9. Indemnification & Liability Waiver

By renting a vehicle from us, you agree to:

Indemnify and hold us harmless against any claims, damages, or lawsuits arising from your use of the vehicle.
Assume all risks related to accidents, property loss, or personal injury.
Waive any right to sue us for incidental or consequential damages (such as missed flights, hotel fees, or business losses).

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Los Angeles County.

By signing this Agreement or renting a vehicle from US Van Rental LLC, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms.
